Product Reviews

Izziwotnot's Bailey Sleigh cot bed isn't the cheapest however it's stylish and well-made. It's easy to put together, but it does require two people. It is stunning in any nursery. Our panel loved the dark wood and dowel sides, and is robust enough to be used until your baby turns toddler. It also meets British safety standards - the depth isn't too deep that your child can climb out and the distance between the slats shouldn't be more than 65mm. This should stop their head from being trapped. It is important to remember that you will need to purchase a mattress separately that is an additional PS88.

The cot stands out because of its sleigh-shaped design. It's also very easy to get your baby in and out of, which is a big benefit. It's slightly more expensive than some other cot beds, however our panel of experts thought it was worth the extra cash for the style and the durability.

This cot bed comes with a choice of the finishes of country pine or walnut and is suitable for babies from birth. It has three useful mattress heights, so you can start your child starting with the base raised up to make it easier for them to get to them throughout the day and the night, and then lower it as they grow. It also has added teething rails that protect your child's gums as well as their precious furniture. When  wooden cot bed  has grown out of their cot bed, you can easily change it into a junior mattress, and then it can be a couch.

The westport design by Silver Cross is another cot that feels substantial and is made to last. It can be used as a cot from birth, then as a toddler bed, and then into a junior bed (toddler guard rails are sold separately). It was a little challenging for our panel to convert the cot into a bed however, their other half of the panel said it was simple and took less than 5 minutes. It's also a tad more expensive than other cots, but it's the kind of style that you'd probably want to keep and use for your children as they grow.
